About Studio C

For many years I worked in an office environment in Ottawa, quietly harbouring a deep interest and love of photography, until an opportunity finally surfaced that allowed me to leave office life behind and become a professional photographer.

Photography to me is freedom. Freedom to seek out nature's beauty, to meet new and interesting people and to capture something special in an image - a family or beloved pet at a special moment in time.

I specialize in family and pet photography and strive to meet or exceed the needs of my clients. I find the best results come from taking the time to learn about my client and to create a comfortable environment.

To maintain the highest standard, I personally perform all the creative aspects involved in my work. All outdoor shots are exposed using available light to capture the natural colour and beauty of my subject. I create indoor portraits through a combination of available light and studio lighting, all with the goal of capturing something essential and special about the individual, animal or scene.
